Definition

A human is a man, woman, or child of the species Homo sapiens or other species of the genus Homo (a human being).  Human is referring or belonging to people and having or showing the qualities and limitations of people, especially the weaknesses, as opposed to God, animals or machines.  Human is having or showing the better qualities of people, for example being kind and thoughtful.

The word comes from Latin humanus, from homo meaning "man".
